Giannis Antetokounmpo To Debut Nike Signature Shoe During NBA Playoffs

Giannis Antetokounmpo is having himself an MVP-caliber season with the Milwaukee Bucks. The team is currently first in the Eastern Conference with a record of 53-19 and it looks as though they are the clear favorite to come out of the East and make it to the NBA Finals. Just like most MVP's do, Giannis has a signature shoe in the works with Nike. Dubbed the Nike Freak 1, Antetokounmpo's shoe has been teased for a while now and it appears as though it is finally going to be unveiled in the near future.

According to a report from Sole Collector, Nike CEO Mark Parker announced that Giannis would unveil his signature shoe during the NBA playoffs.

"Building on the energy of the NBA Playoffs, Giannis [Antetokounmpo] will cap off his incredible season with the reveal of his first signature shoe," Parker said during an earnings call. This is big news as his signature shoe has been highly-anticipated and will surely appeal to players who possess a lot of size.

Earlier this week, Giannis revealed that he a big announcement coming on April 4th, which could potentially involve his signature shoe.
