The very first lines of the song will have many listeners wondering where they've heard it before. This marker of a catchy tune is found in the hook as well as other parts of the vocal melody. Like the other part of Long Story Short, the lyrics that make up "Empty Inside" are NSFW. Still, the poetry is on a friendlier side of the spectrum of lewdness.
Gashi has been pumping out content consistently for the summer. The Brooklyn-based artist dropped "Blame It On The Bag" in anticipation of the season's sunny days. The Felix Leone-produced track also came with a music video. Gashi also teamed up with Leeky Bandz before this. Their track, "Roof In Trunk," dropped in May.
