Rappers love to talk about how much money they have and how hard they ball, so it's good to see them giving back some of that mounting money to people who are really in need. Game has teamed up with Drake to cover the funeral costs of six people, including five young children, who tragically died in a house fire in Ohio this past Sunday.
This is actually the second time in recent memory we've heard of Game donating money to cover funeral costs, prior to this he pledged $10,000 to cover the funeral costs of a six-year old Los Angeles girl named Tiana Ricks who was fatally shot.
Game once more felt the need to donate after hearing about Anna Angel, a mother who was working her shift at Burger King when her boyfriend and five children were trapped inside their home and died in the fire.
TMZ reports that when Game read about Anna Angel's loss he was on the phone with Drizzy, so the two decided to each put in $10,000 to cover the funeral costs.
Game wrote on Instagram about the tragedy, "I can deal with a lot of things but people losing their children is something that kills me every time."
Drake later added, "Myself and [Game] are donating a total of $22,500 to [Anna] Angel, who lost her boyfriend & their 5 children in a house fire on behalf of [The Robin Hood Project]. What [Game] is doing will never be forgotten. Honored to be able to help people along side my brother."
