Gabrielle Union and Dwayne Wade are making moves to secure their daughter's future and she's only four-months-old. According to The Blast, Gabrielle and Dwayne have trademarked their four-month-old daughter's name, Kaavia James, setting her up to launch merchandise such as clothing, hair care products and jewelry.
The publication details how baby products will also be a focus with Kaavia's name to be stamped on diaper bags and baby bibs. Trademark applications have been filed under “Kaavia James” and “Shady Baby” and a loan out company has been started with Gabrielle labeled as CEO Kaavia James Inc while Dwayne is CFO.
The term 'Shady Baby' was coined after numerous photos of their daughter showed her shady expressions. If you check out Kaavia's official Instagram page, you'll see exactly what Gabrielle and Dwayne are talking about.
Dwayne and Gabrielle welcomed Kaavia via surrogacy after the Being Mary Jane actress previously opened up about her eight or nine miscarriages.
"So many people are suffering in silence and every time, when we're candid and transparent about our journeys, no matter what those journeys are, you are allowing people to be seen and heard and empowered in ways that they've never been," Gabrielle said when discussing her choice to be open about her journey to motherhood.
