G-Eazy had what might of been some of the worst couple of days in his life last week, after an incident with a pushy fan at a nightclub in Stockholm, Sweden, erupted into a full-on brawl. G-Eazy struck one of the club's security personnel, and was then arrested, where police also found cocaine on his person. G-Eazy eventually pled guilty to the charges in court last Friday, and was released with the charges dismissed.

Thankful that he avoided the fate of so many other rap artists who get caught in the prison system, G-Eazy took to Instagram to share a message with his fans who may have been worried about him while he was locked up.

"Grateful & blessed to be free & safe. Happy to be in Copenhagen tonight doing what I love most," said G-Eazy on Instagram. "Embarrassed & apologetic beyond words about the incident, but above all I’m so fucking grateful they let me go, craziest experience of my life, awful night with a lot of bad luck and some even worse decisions but like I said I’m grateful as fuck to be a free man, back on tour performing for the fans."

G-Eazy then goes on to thank everyone who held him down, and supported him throughout his career.

G-Eazy is right to be grateful, because even though his charges weren't that severe, rappers, especially black artists, have been locked up for less. Maybe now that he's out, G-Eazy should pull a Meek Mill and work to fight the broken legal system.
