The other night G-Eazy held an album listening session out in NYC to give the industry and possibly a few fans a preview of his anticipated sophomore effort, When It's Dark Out. We gleamed a thing or two from the event, including the inspiration behind the album, that being horror films, perhaps not so surprising given it's title. The album doesn't impact until December 4th, but the Bay Area spitter is making headway early with the single "Me, Myself & I," and now with "Random."
"Random" features a lurching guitar melody, which definitely creates a horror-esque vibe, while G-Eazy barrels through with bars.
Pre-order just became available on iTunes, and you'll receive an instant download of "Random" if you pre-order.
Listen I don't slack a bit
Game plan solid no cracks in it
Said I wanted a billion now nothing less is adequate
Grab a cheque, cashin it
I was born addicted to the money
Difference now is I finally found a way to manage it
