Future and Young Thug are about to break the internet.

It's happening. After all those rumors, we've finally received confirmation that Future and Young Thug are releasing a collaborative project tonight. The project is called Super Slimey, and while we don't really know anything about producers or guest appearances, two high profile artists like Future and Thug should have no problem bringing in some high profile guests. Check out the official cover art below, which was shared on Future's IG page, along with the caption "MIDNIGHT #SUPERSLIMEY." And, as if the hype wasn't already off the charts, Thug tweeted out "I'm SUPERSLIMEY ILL FUCK AROUND AND SLIME OUT FUTURE," along with a trifecta of god damn snake emojis. That's how you know Thug's not playing on this one.

The duo have collaborated on numerous tracks in the past, and the chemistry is clear. The only question is, how will a project between these two emcees actually sound? Thug's latest full length album found the rapper exploring genres like country and folk, while Future has basically perfected the drugged out trap sound. While it would be crazy to hear Future shouting auto-tuned "yee-haw" ad-libs a la "Family Don't Matter," it's more likely that both rappers come heavy on the melodic bars.

Overall, this announcement is a pleasant surprise, and tomorrow should be an exciting day for hip-hop fans. Whether or not you love Future and Thug, you can't deny the hype of a surprise release, especially one of this magnitude. Stay tuned with us for extensive coverage on the upcoming Super Slimey, dropping at the stroke of midnight.

While you wait, go check out Young Thug's brand new video for the aforementioned "Family Don't Matter."
