As reported by HipHopDX, the funeral service for Chris "Mac Daddy" Kelly of Kriss Kross was held in Atlanta today, with Jermaine Dupri, Da Brat and members of R&B group Xscape in attendance. A public viewing was held in Atlanta yesterday.

Kelly's eulogy was delivered by close friend and Kriss Kross collaborator Chris "Daddy Mac" Smith. "I would say Kris Kross forever, but without Chris, it ain't never gonna be the same... but I hope our legacy for Hip Hop is never forgotten."

Both Dupri and Da Brat wore their pants backwards at the service, a nod to the fashion craze spearheaded by Kris Kross in 1992 after the release of their hit single "Jump," featured on their definitive Totally Krossed Out album.

Kelly was found dead in his home on May 1st with a mixture of cocaine and heroin in his system. May he rest in peace.
