Following claims from Celina Powell that Offset impregnated her, the rapper's lawyers have sent a cease and desist letter which claims she is extorting the rapper. TMZ reports that law firm Manatt, Phelps and Phillips, has reportedly sent a letter on the Migos rapper's behalf claiming that Powell demanded $50,000 in exchange for getting an abortion. The letter also says that her claim that she is pregnant with Offset's child is false, and that this is not her first time making such an allegation towards a celebrity.

The letter asks Powell to stop posting on social media about Offset, accusing her not only of extortion, but using the allegedly false claim to boost her profile. The law firm says that Powell's posts have caused certain businesses to cut ties with Offset.

Earlier this week, a report claimed that Offset and his fiancée Cardi B did not believe Powell's story, with a source suggesting that Offset and Celina have never met. A video that seems to show Powell FaceTiming with Offset was written off as a "prank call" by the same source.

Powell shared a sonogram with the claim that the baby pictured was Offset's. In a caption, she acknowledged that she is known for faking pregnancies, but on this occasion, it's the "real deal." "I’m not sure what the future holds but I hope [Offset] & I work this out for the sake of Karma Lee Cephus," she wrote. "I know y’all like 'this bitch done faked hella pregnancies,' but this time there’s NOOO doubt.  I can’t wait to meet you my angel." The post has since been deleted.
