The Met Gala 2019 inspired celebrities to bring their A-game yesterday, which is well justified considering it is one of the most glamorous nights of the year. Most recently, the fabulous charity ball switched up its rules and tightened up on what is and isn't allowed during the exclusive night. As the latter did not seem the shy guests away, our favorite celebrities showed up to show out. Of the many invitees were musicians, actors, and fashion moguls, each coming through with their unique styles and looks. And through the fabulous, comedic and extravagant looks, rapper French Montana brought his roots to the gala.

French Montana arrived at the gala looking like North African prince in a fit designed by the iconic fashion designer Dapper Dan, through his Gucci collection. The Morrocan-bred rapper stated the inspiration from his look stemmed from the commencing month of Ramadan, which began this past Sunday May 5th. The artist took his best shots and shared it via his official Instagram account, with the added quote "CHEIK MONTANA ð RAMADAN MUBARAK." The celebratory words "Ramadan Mubarak" translate to "Happy Ramadan" or "Have a blessed Ramadan."
The theme leading the Met Gala 2019 this year was tied to joint the Metropolitan Museum of Art's costume exhibit entitled Camp: Notes On Fashion.
