Discussing his next single, "Freaks" which is a collabo with Nicki Minaj, French Montana says the track will reach No. 1, and talks the NYC connection of the two artists.
Gearing up for the release of his anticipated and oft delayed studio album, French Montana is planning to drop his next single âFreaksâ which features a verse from Nicki Minaj. Recently, the Bad Boy artist talked about the track, and says, it will top the charts. He also discusses why he likes working with Nicki and feels him and her are two of the hottest to ever come out of New York.
Earlier in the week the Moroccan rapper revealed the cover art for âFreaksâ and now confirms that it will be dropping next week. Montana says fans can expect an explicit verse from Minaj, â It will drop next week... and it will be No. 1.â Talking about the Barbz leaderâs verse he says, âyou gotta hear it, you know the song, itâs called âFreaksâ so you know what sheâs talkin about.â
The Excuse My French rapper talked about collaborating with a fellow New Yorker, and felt it fits because he feels they are two of the best to come out of the city, âMe and Nicki from the same city, I feel like sheâs the hottest [female] to come out, Iâm the hottest dude to come outta my city, in the longest time...I feel like this song, is bigger than just a song, itâs two people that came outta my city, and made a dope song together.â
