To promote his upcoming Mac N Cheese 4 album, which is expected to arrive on August 19, French Montana decides to come through tonight and share the official video for his Drake-assisted single “No Shopping.”
Heading down to the exotic resort of La Romana in the Dominican Republic, French & Drizzy can be seen rapping poolside with plenty of bikini-clad women by their side in this Spiff TV-directed clip above. Here’s what the director had to say about the video to Billboard,
“We wanted to do something different. With me, French and Drake, there’s a lot of association with the Latin world. For some reason, everybody thinks Drake’s Dominican and that French Montana is Puerto Rican. We wanted to give that vibe and show the world that Dominican Casa de Campo energy. We did a skit, too, making fun of the Spanish side. They always call Drake ‘El Draque’ and there’s all these memes of him dancing bachata. It’s just a fun party.”
