Ever on his grind, Philadelphia’s Freeway has found a new home. Earlier today indie outlet Babygrande Records announced that they had signed Freeway with the express purpose of aiding his upcoming album.
Diamond In The Ruff has been in the works for awhile now, and Babygrande couldn’t be more excited about assisting with the release. Long time producer and A&R Ruddy Rock relayed his adoration for the artist and his catalog in the official release; all while plugging the aforementioned album along the way.
In addition, guest appearances from Wale, Styles P, Marsha Ambrosius, and Musiq Soulchild were alluded to. Plus, with the promise of a new Jake One collaboration on the way, long time Freeway fans have a lot to look forward to with this signing. The only question remaining is: will his sponsored mixtape, Freedom of Speech, be released beforehand?
