Roc Nation OG and bearded wonder Freeway teams with New York's Dave East on the new banger "Hold The Fort Down." The DJ Skizz produced cut is prime material for fans of that gully street sound, a fact attested by Freeway himself. In an interview with Billboard, he states "this song is basically me and Dave East doing what we do -- holding the fort down for the streets and for the hood." 

The pair of rappers have a notable chemistry, with Freeway's raspy kick-in-the-door delivery and Dave East's slick machine gun flow. While Freeway is known for his signature off-kilter flow, Dave East shines with a dynamic verse and clever punchlines.
