Freeway has been fairly quiet as of late. While he has been known to have prolific outbursts (as evidenced by 2009's underrated Month Of Madness series), we haven't heard a full project from Philly Freezer in a while.
It seems the rapper does have a new effort in the works, which happens to be a collaboration with producer and mash-up artist Girl Talk. While it seems like an unconventional pairing, Girl Talk revealed in a recent interview that he had always wanted to get some work in with Freeway.
"I’ve been working on a new EP and I decided I wanted to collaborate with one of my favorite rappers of all time," he told Rolling Stone.
The DJ also tweeted the title of the new project, which will be called Broken Ankles, and was joined onstage by Freeway at a recent gig.
