Though he dropped off a rock-solid EP, Pronto, in March, we felt that we hadn't gotten quite enough Freddie Gibbs this year, especially as he and Madlib gave us one of 2014's best releases with Piñata. Well, today Gibbs proved to fans that he's been cooking up some serious dope, announcing that his next full-length, Shadow of a Doubt, is right around the corner. To coincide with the surprise announcement, he has shared a single of fitting quality: "Fuckin' Up the Count," produced by Boi-1da and Frank Dukes.

Over a bleak, unsettling production from the Toronto dream team, Gibbs is back to his signature brand of realist gangsta rapping. As though days of his own adolescence are coming back to haunt him, Gibbs details how soon after getting into the dope game, a young teenager has to be ready to kill.

Gibbs premiered the song along with a harrowing music video. Watch here

Shadow of a Doubt arrives on November 20 and includes features from Tory Lanez, Gucci Mane, E-40, Black Thought, and more.

Quotable Lyrics

My celly steady ringin' for Freddie
Where where ya bills at?
Teacher told me go get a job
I said where the scale at
Told my Cali plug wrap the package up, we can mail that
