South Bronx rapper Fred The Godson has returned from a lenghty hiatus, teaming up with Dave East for the arena-friendly "G5." The vibes are pure New York, even before the rapping begins. Over a beat from DJ Kool-B, both Fred and East come through heavy on the punchlines, delivering something raw for the lyrical heads.

Godson described the track to XXL, calling it "straight gutter, New York City hip-hop. The beat calls for that, I had to get my boy Dave East on this!” And East goes in, kicking off his verse with a dexterous flow and double entendres for days. Check it out now.

Quotable Lyrics
