Last week, reclusive singer Frank Ocean debuted the new song "Chanel," and later dropped off a remix featuring A$AP Rocky on his Apple Music radio show blonded. In the song, Ocean references the legendary haute couture fashion house.
"My guy pretty like a girl/And he got fight stories to tell/I see both sides like Chanel/See on both sides like Chanel," sings Frank.
In turn, Wednesday, the French fashion house posted two new ads featuring the Blond singer's lines, saying, "We see both sides like Frank. #YouKnowMeAndYouDont." Perhaps it is a simple nod. Still, Ocean is no stranger to fashion shows and some observers have speculated that the mysterious crooner has partnered with Chanel for a new marketing campaign.
