Frank Ocean's personal life is often very private and mysterious. We are usually left wondering exactly what it is the elusive artist is doing in between his releases, as he has a tendency to disappear from the face of the earth.
Today we get a glimpse inside the life of the singer, and it's not what we expected at all as TMZ reports that his father is suing him for over $14 million in damages in a new defamation lawsuit. The report claims that Calvin Cooksey lost several financial opportunities in the film and music industry due to his son's comments in a Tumblr post last summer honoring the victims of the Pulse nightclub shooting in Orlando, Florida.
According to Cooksey, the portion of the letter that Frank recalls a visit to a diner with him and claims he used a homophobic slur at a transgender is not true.
