Frank Ocean had a big year in 2012, he firstly announced his confused sexual orientation in an open letter to fans, and shortly after dropped off his debut album,Channel Orange, to rave reviews.

He's already been nominated for several Grammy awards this year, and now more nominations are coming his way.

GLAAD, the Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation, has nominated Ocean for the category of Outstanding Music Artist as part of their GLAAD Media Awards. The awards show takes place in New York (March 16), Los Angeles (April 20) and San Francisco (May 11), and were created in order to celebrate fair representation of gay, lesbian, bi-sexual or transgender people within the media.

Ever since his open letter, the Odd Future affiliate has remained relatively quiet about his sexuality.
