German act's poster appropriated by Ocean's team?
It seems that the Internet has seen it before.
Frank Ocean, the reclusive star record-maker extraordinaire, is being accused of an act of artistic fraud. His blondedRADIO Beats 1 show was supposedly appropriated a poster made by German electronic acts Jesse Osborne-Lanthier and Grischa Lichtenberger for a project called Conversation Sur Lettres Mortes project. Lanthier commented on the story via Twitter, giving us a side-by-side comparison.
Between this and cancelling several festival spots in 2017, it seems like Ocean's public perception might be in the middle of a bit of a backwards slide. There has been no official word from Ocean, Beats 1 or their representatives concerning the plagiarism allegations.
