Although Epic games may be bracing itself against lawsuits from such heavyweights as Backpack Kid, Alfonso Ribeiro and possibly BlocBoy JB ("Should I Sue Fortnite Or Nah"), the tweaks and patches to keep their marquee title operating at maximum addictive levels, keep coming.

The newest "content update" sees many a change that players have been waiting for and some that are surprises, like the addition of the new Suppressed Sniper Rifle, which is exactly what it sounds like. It's specific characteristics are as follows:

  • Available in Epic and Legendary variants.
  • Can be found from chests, floor loot, Vending Machines, and Supply Drops.
  • A single shot, scoped sniper rifle.
  • The suppressor makes for a quieter shot, trading stealth for power.
    • Deals 100/105 base damage

Another weapon, the Six Shooter, has been vaulted, as well as the Uncommon, Common and Rare variants of the Burst Assault Rifle. Dual Pistols, on the other hand, are back. A much requested nerf has also been done on the Boom Box: "Drop rate reduced by 33%, Health reduced from 600 to 400 Duration reduced from 25 seconds to 18 seconds."

The X-4 Stormwing has also been dialled back in power, with the "knockback a player receives after being hit" decreased by 70%, damage done to the plane when it crashes into structures raise by %50 and the spread of its gun increased by %70. You can read all the specifics of the update on Epic's website.
