Preview the "Banned" Air Jordan 1 Flyknit.
Today we have our first look at what the "Flyknit" Air Jordan 1 will look like, a sneaker that has been rumored ever since Nike started applying their beloved Flyknit technology to classic shoes like the Air Force 1.
The first rendition of the Flyknit AJ1 comes in the familiar "Banned" color scheme, maintaining a red leather swoosh and white midsole while the leather construction swapped out for the unique Flyknit material.
Release details have yet to be announced but you can get a good idea of what to expect from the few images that have recently hit the 'net.
Our first collaboration and its with Nike!!! The cross stitch technique was adopted from the Fuggit- Onelove design. Thank you for trusting in our process. The decision to use leather instead of Neoprene was the genius of Jason Mayden. This is going to be one comfortable and classy sneaker. #onelove
It was an ambitious request to try to get the year 1989 on the toungue as a dedication to the year Michael Eugene Thomas was killed for his Jordan 1's. While this didnt work out as hoped , We are in talks with the Jordan brand to release a series of short movies that will educate consumers and help bring awareness to Material sneaker violence. One love !!!
