Flavor Flav will stand trial on two felony charges stemming from an incident with his fiance and her son.
We reported previously on veteran rapper Flavor Flav gettingÂ arrested for assaulting his fiance's 17-year old son after an argument arose with the fianceÂ about Flav's possibleÂ infidelities.The rapper was out on $23,000 bail after the incident, and now more details have emerged concerning his ongoing case.
USAToday reportsÂ that Flavor Flav will stand trial on two felony charges, as a judge in Las Vegas says there is enough evidence that Flavor Flav threatened his fiance's teenage son with a butcher knife.
Flavor Flav is accused of pushing his girlfriend to the floor back in October, andÂ wieldingÂ a knife while chasing and threateningÂ her son in their home. While Flav didn'tÂ testifyÂ at an evidence hearing which took place on Wednesday, the 17-year old did.
If Flavor Flav is convicted he could face up to 12 years in prison.
The arraignment is scheduled for April 18th onÂ felony charges of assault with a weapon and child endangerment. Flav is expected to plead not guilty.
