FKA Twigs has had a low-key year, only popping up in different cities with her reported boo Shia LaBeouf. More recently, FKA has announced an international tour beginning in May and following-up on the good news the "Water Me" singer has now revealed the name of her new single. Arriving tomorrow, April 23rd, FKA's newest track "Cellophane" will be available to all.

FKA made the announcement on Instagram, posting a photo of herself posing on a pole with a detailed caption about practicing hard to get where she needs to be. "Throughout my life I’ve practiced my way to being the best I could be, it didn’t work this time. I had to tear down every process I'd ever relied on. go deeper. rebuild. start again. cellophane is coming, tomorrow," she wrote.

“I try and make it as visceral as possible,” FKA stated a few years back when explaining her vocal and production choices. “I want people to hear the sinews in the drums and the clicking sounds. I want it to feel physical, like it’s in your body, because that’s how I feel.”She added: “It’s not that I don’t want to be called R&B, but there are lots of other things, as well. So let’s talk about everything.”

“It’s a little bit because of how I look. Maybe if I looked differently, then people would be like, ‘Oh, I can hear these classical sounds in her voice.’”
