The Memphis rapper is still being held by police.
Finesse 2Tymes, a rapper whose concert in Little Rock was where a shooter left 28 people injured was arrested earlier this morning (July 2nd) on assault charges that are unrelated to the Arkansas incident, according to Billboard.
Finesse, aka Ricky Hampton, was brought in on outstanding charges of aggravated assault with a firearm out of Forrest City in eastern Arkansas, that according to the Unites States Marshals. For their part, Little Rock police have not made any arrests in connection with the shooting at the Power Ultra Lounge in downtown Little Rock. According to what they know, the shooting may have been related to a gang dispute.
Hampton and another man were arrested in Birmingham, where Hampton was performing 24 hours after his show in Little Rock. More than twenty people between the ages of 16 and 35 suffered gunshot wounds, but no fatalities have been reported at the time of this writing.
