CMDWN Collective is comprised of two rappers, Fiji and Ca$tro. Both are based in Toronto, although Ca$tro is a Toronto transplant by way of Atlanta, while Fiji is born and raised in the city. The two delivered a full mixtape under the CMDWN moniker back in April, Ca$tro Vs Fiji, which you can download here if you want to hear more from them.
Both artists have been relatively quiet since the mixtape drop, however both are back today, dropping off a pair of records. Each song pairs each artist with a different collaborator -- both happen to be ATLiens though, which makes sense given their sound. The first among them, Fiji nabs Lil Yachty for the tropical "The Way She Move." We may be approaching winter, but if you listen to this song, you wouldn't know it. The art reflects that all too well.
Both of the new records may be off the forthcoming ATLANADA 2, which is, according to their SoundCloud description, "otw." You can also grab the first ATLANADA here. Stay tuned, and look out for Ca$tro's record with Nessly, "Die In Supreme."
