Fences may not be a familiar name to our regular readers. A four-piece band based out of Seattle, the group has (to date) remained pretty exclusively in their genre (alt-pop), so, naturally, they don't usually find themselves on hip-hop websites--at least not until today.

"Arrows" is the second radio single off Fences' upcoming Lesser Oceans LP and it may just be song that lifts the band from the underground and into the mainstream. The song has all the makings of a hit: a catchy chorus, some emotional depth and, of course, a guest feature from 2012's "it" children Macklemore & Ryan Lewis. Whether or not these qualities will appeal to hip-hop heads, however, remains to be seen.

Quotable Lyrics:

I'm blinded by this limelight
It's all night
It's all day
These bright lights
Once you turn em on, you can't walk way
