Three 6 Mafia's "Who Run It" has taken on a new life as a popular freestyle instrumental among the new wave of rappers. It all started with G Herbo, who brought an incredible new flow to the song in a radio freestyle, and from there, everyone from Trippie Redd to Juicy J himself has decided to do a new version of the track. Now it's Fat Trel's turn. Trel has already been doing regular Gleesh Mixes, so it was only right that he take on the instrumental. A versatile and deceptively technical rapper, Trel's DC flows sound perfect over the beat as he drops tough talk, sharp punchlines, and humor. He even makes sure to shout out "Herbo on his third phone."

His next project Finally Free is "coming soon" according to a caption on his SoundCloud. After many impressive mixtapes over the years and a recent hiatus due to jail time, the world has never been more ready for a proper Trel album.

Trel dropped his SDMG 2 mixtape back in 2016. It features guest appearances from Shy Glizzy, Dave East, Wale, and more. Listen to it here.

Quotable Lyrics:
I've been up rollin' for a whole week
Still in the streets, shit chose me
Got a rap deal, still tote heat
I don' give a fuck about police
