Viewers who watched Famous Dex on Instagram Live and witness the rapper slip into a gentle slumber had a few reactions. There were some comments that labeled the incident as humorous contrasting those that expressed alarm and concern for the young man's health. The rapper hopped on Instagram again to deliver his message. According to the entertainer, he fell asleep for the most common reason. The dude was tired.
He qualifies the "video that went viral" and "kinda stupid" before enlightening his following. "First [off], I'm a human being," he said. "I work my a** off and once you put in overtime overnight and come in at 4am in the morning and go live, then hey [...] I'm not going to lie, I was tired and high at the same time."
Dex also asked his viewers to exercise more discernment saying, "Don't let the world trick you and be fooled."
The commentary that leaned towards concern was a likely reaction considering Famous Dex' own admission of using drugs like lean in addition to the multitude of overdoses people have witnessed in the celebrity sphere.
