Famous Dex is hell bent on ending the year on a high note, and the Rich Forever 3 rapper isn't finished with us yet. Late last night, Dexter announced he would be dropping a new mixtape titled Read About It on Christmas Day, December 25th. The mixtape, which is set to be hosted by DJ Shon, will be the second high profile release that day. Lil Wayne's Dedication 6 is also set to land on Christmas, which means the holiday will be alive with some hip-hop music. Plus, it's kind of cool to see two generations of artists dropping off old-school mixtapes, paying homage to what some feel is a lost artform.

After all, the acceptance of streaming services has largely changed the way music is consumed, and the days of big mixtape drops have become few and far between. Hopefully this Christmas, people will find themselves doing something they haven't done in a minute - downloading an original mixtape. And while Dexter has yet to issue any potential guest appearances, he has shared the album cover, available below.

If you look closely, you might be able to make out some semblance of a tracklist:

Made Up
Remember Days (prod. by Glohan)
Stop It
Up ft. Ski Mask The Slump God & Reggie Mills (prod by Ronny J)
Only If ft. Pacino
Hating Needs To Stop
Checking You Out (prod. by Glohan)

It's unclear if that's the full tracklist, but it certainly looks promising, especially that "Up" track. Stay tuned for more music from Famous Dex, coming soon.
