Fabolous spoke about having no hard feelings toward Young Money rapper, Lil Wayne in a recent interview with MTV news.
During an interview with MTV news, Brooklyn rapper Fabolous revealed that he had no hard feelings towards Lil Wayne after the New Orleans rapper talked about his dislike for the city of New York. Fabolous, who alluded to Weezy and his comments about his city on the record "So NY," said that NYC hasn't been the best musically but hoped to elevate that with his latest release.Â
âItâs his opinion,â Fabolous revealed. âSo if he doesnât like New York itâs not a bad thing. I do feel he spoke it out because it was how he felt. New York isnât at its strongest point musically or something like that. Itâs also hard to say that about any place. I donât care if you do an interview and say âYo, I donât like Kentucky.â The people of Kentucky are gonna have a little gripe about thatâ¦I took what he was saying and tried to empower some pride back into New York. You know what I mean, 'I'm so New York, Weezy probably donât like me.â Thatâs what it was more about. Just making a statement and taking what he said and motivating people with it.â
Both rappers were at Club LIV in Miami where they had the opportunity to clear with the air with both parties in a jovial mood the discussion.
âI seen him at Club LIV and when I saw him I was like, âIâmma go over there and holler at him.â Just to check the temperature and make sure everythingâs okay because you know people hearing things and I donât know which way they took [it],â said Fabolous. âAnd he actually came over to me and came and said âwhatâs upââ¦That was the end of it there. It was no reason to dwell on it. I even actually took a picture for my Instagram just to show the people that it wasnât no big deal.â
