Another day, another troll. Erica Mena and Safaree Samuels got engaged over the holidays and he ordered in "10,000 rose petals [and] 200 candles" to make the proposal as memorable as possible. Needless to say, Erica said yes but her special moment had lots of people assuming it was a way to one-up her ex-girlfriend, Cyn Santana.
As we know, Cyn and Joe Budden got engaged just before Christmas when Joe dropped down on one knee during a special broadcast of his self-titled podcast. Erica has now come through to say a few words of her own on the unnecessary comparison.
"It’s really a joke how folks got nerve to say I’m trying to be like X , Y and Z...... How? I’ve done everything I’ve ever wanted to do before turning 23 years old. Down to the music. Stop comparing me and just let me continue being great," she wrote. "Two movie scripts in front of me as we speak that I’m shooting in January back to back. And already started planning our wedding. Humble I say - You can’t compare me."
