The hype for Eminem's upcoming ninth studio album Revival is more real than ever, and the November 17th release date is approaching ever-so-slowly. Now, Marshall Mathers has tweeted out a cryptic new message, which reads as follows:

"'Walk on Water' - Take as needed"

In true Eminem fashion, the tweet has already, as of this moment amassed nearly four thousand retweets in just over six minutes. For anyone who is doubting whether or not Em can still move units, you might want to reevaluate your predictions. Clearly, people are eager to hear what the legendary rapper has to say, and for all intents and purposes, it looks like "Walk On Water" may very well be our first taste of his new album.

Yesterday, a report surfaced that indicated Eminem would reportedly be "launching" Revival at the EMAs on this Sunday, November 12th. While it was unclear what "launching" meant in this context, the report claimed that Em would be "dropping" the album via a "massive performance." Some have speculated he would be officially confirming "Revival" (even though it's all but facts at this point) by debuting a new single, while others believe he will take a page out of N.E.R.D.'s book and simply premiere the album in its entirety. Honestly, it's difficult to say at this point, but one thing is for sure - Em is making moves out here.

If you think about it, "Walk On Water" sounds like a strong candidate for a single. If we're to understand that Em's latest song is dropping soon, perhaps we might even be looking at a traditional Friday release. Otherwise, we might have to wait until Sunday to know for sure. Either way, "Walk On Water" is coming - it's only a matter of when. Props to Eminem for proving that a veteran can still cause this much hype over a simple piece of paper.
