Glasgow Summer Sessions has been taking place every summer since 2013. Other than the opening year, it's typically a two day festival that has some huge names attached to it. Earlier this year, they announced that Eminem would be the headliner. Eminem is no stranger to the festival as he headlined it on the year of it's inception. However, this year they pretty much booked any hip hop heads dream. The line up this year includes Eminem, Run The Jewels, Danny Brown and Russ.

While the show takes place tonight, Run The Jewels member, El-P took to Instagram to post a historical picture of himself, Eminem, Royce Da 5'9", Killer Mike and Trackstar the DJ. The caption below it reads casually "4 rappers and a dj." While they were likely just chilling backstage, it's dope that Eminem linked up with Run The Jewels. Who knows what the conversation was like but it's nice to know that while Eminem sits atop the rap game, he still keeps his ear out to for other artists that care about the culture just as much as he does.

On top of that, even without being a booked performer, it's safe to say that anyone who will be at Glasgow Summer Sessions will be fortunate enough to see Royce Da 5'9" hop on stage to perform some joints off of Bad Meets Evil. There have been some solid festival line-ups this year but this one seems to be the one to get FOMO over.

With both RTJ, Eminem and Royce Da 5'9" linking up, hopefully this may lead to a crazy collaboration between all four rappers, maybe even on Eminem's new album? While none of that is confirmed or even speculated, the idea of Eminem rapping over an El-P beat is pretty wild.

Eminem is one of those people that stays low key until he needs to be summoned. We've heard speculated rumors that he has an album on the way and even rumors about his upcoming single. While he's about to hit the stage tonight, hopefully people at Glasgow Summer Sessions will be fortunate enough to hear a sneak peek of something off his forthcoming album.
