Def Jam's Elijah Blake may have a hit on his hands with "I Just Wanna...". The single, which gets a dance-heacy visual today, features a full-on R&B verse from DeJ Loaf, proving (if it wasn't clear already) the Detroit newcomer has some serious songwriting chops. The over-achieving feature doesn't carry the song, however, as Blake's almost Kendrick-esque hook should be left ingrained in your mind all day.
Blake is set to release his debut album, Shadows & Diamonds, later this year, and if this record takes off, we'll probably be seeing it sooner rather than later. Let us know what you think of the single in the comments below.
