The pop landscape is about to undergo a cataclysmic shift.
After reports that Justin Bieber was readying his return to "Bugatti" form, cooler heads indicated his anticipated return album was still a ways away. Despite the year-long delay, Bieber fiends may very well find themselves treated to a few musical aperitifs. The Blast has reported that Bieber and Ed Sheeran have been putting in work on an untitled, mysterious project, which has already been teased in a cryptic fashion.
The plot thickened once Ed's manager Stuart Camp posted the beloved singer in front of a green-screen, bearing striking resemblance to a Bieber photo posted by Hailey Baldwin. You can check them out for yourself below, and read between the lines. Another exhibit finds Bieber's manager Scooter Braun posting the same caption as the one lining Stuart Camp's photograph: "This guy! Something is happening. Love it!"
Though it's been a minute since both Bieber and Sheeran dropped off full length albums, it wouldn't be surprising to see their joint efforts combine to shatter to pop music world as we know it. Given that both have proven to be allies of the hip-hop realm, have you any interest in hearing Sheeran and Bugatti Biebs linking up on wax?
