The hype around Bobby Shmurda's "Hot Nigga" has inspired a wave of freestyles over the instrumental, which is funny, seeing as the Shmurda track was a remix in itself, with the rapper going in over Lloyd Banks' "Jackpot".
Either way, it's clearly taken a life of its own, and Pro Era's Dyemond Lewis is the most recent rapper to reinvent the beat, bringing yet another approach to the track, while still keeping things definitively New York.
Lewis shouts out both Joey and the late Capital Steez, as well as doing plenty of bragging of his own. Is he next up?
