Phife Dawg's posthumous album is tentatively scheduled to come out sometime in the first quarter of 2017. While little information about such an album has been shared, Dwele's new song "Wanna Dance" contains a previously unreleased Phife verse, which would suggest that a sizable treasure trove of Phife material is sitting in a vault somewhere.
"Wanna Dance" is produced by Mike City, who has been working with artists like Carl Thomas, Mark Morrison, Brandy, and Gerald Levert since the turn of the century.
