The Rock has yet another action film on the docket.
Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson just finished reaping in major success from his role in the jungle film Jumanji. The 45-year-old isn't done with the tropical rainforest just yet as his next box office film sees him living with a Silverback Gorilla in the creature's habitat.
Rampage, loosely based on the video game of the same name, follows Davis Okoye (played by Dwayne) who befriends an albino silverback gorilla named George. Due to a genetic experiment, George begins to grow in size and his rage follows suit. Unfortunately for Davis, George isn't the only creature to grow in size and as you can see in the trailer below, Davis and George have to fight gigantic crocodiles, wolves and more.
The film also stars Naomie Harris, Malin Akerman, Jake Lacey, Joe Manganiello, Jeffrey Dean Morgan and hits theatres April 20th.
It was previously announced that the second installment of Jumanji was confirmed and in the works bringing back The Rock with his castmates Kevin Hart, Jack Black, Karen Gillan, and Nick Jonas. The sequel is just one of many films and series The Rock is involved with, having a Fast & Furious spinoff in the works and being the host of physical competition series, The Titans.
