Back in September, North Carolina's Duru Tha King dropped his Indoor Plus+ tape, a project that showcased a surprising amount of depth from such a young, untested artist. Since then, he's been sharing videos for songs from the project, and today, "Ascension" becomes his latest.
Shot with a purple tint, the video shows Duru rolling up another type of purple stuff, cooling on the couch and smoking outside. The AJ Rice-produced track is layered and vibey, adding on swathes of tranquil synths halfway through the relatively short track. Duru's shown a ton of promise in the last few months -- watch out for him in 2015.
