Draymond Green is widely considered one of the best defensive players in the entire NBA and has been a huge part of the Golden State Warriors dynasty-- a dynasty which includes three of the last four NBA Titles. Green will become a free agent in 2020 and at 29 years old, and he's expected to get a fairly nice payday. In preparation for free agency, Green told ESPN that he is joining Klutch Sports which is run by president and agent Rich Paul. Paul is notable for having three superstar clients in Anthony Davis, Ben Simmons, and of course, LeBron James.

Klutch Sports has come under fire as of late for allegations of tampering in James' apparent recruitment of Anthony Davis who expressed a desire to leave the New Orleans Pelicans for the Lakers. Well aware of the controversy surrounding Klutch Sports, Green made it clear that no tampering was going down.

"It's impossible to say LeBron played no part in me joining Klutch, simply because he has been Klutch since the beginning," Green explained. "He's essentially a founding partner. I've already had a relationship with LeBron for years, so it's always good to be able to do business with family that's going about their business in the right fashion and getting things done. But as far as recruiting me -- no, LeBron didn't recruit me at all."

As for why he joined Klutch, Green explains that it all has to do with Paul and his abilities as an agent.

"Klutch is a cutting-edge company, it's a pure environment, and I've grown to know Rich over the years," Green said. "We've become very close. When you really take a step back and actually study what is going on, he checks every box that a player would want in an agent. So, why not? Some are afraid of what people will think or what will be said. That's not the case for me."

Next season, Green will be entering the final year of his 5-year, $82 million deal with the Warriors.
