Draymond Green & Bradley Beal Get Ejected After In-Game Scuffle

On Friday night, the Golden State Warrriors hosted John Wall and the Washington Wizards at Oracle Arena for a battle of arguably the NBA’s two best point guards. While the Warriors stormed back in the second half to win the game 120-117, what everyone was talking about is the in-game altercation between Drayond Green and Bradley Beal, which got both players ejected.

Near the end of the second quarter, Beal drove toward the basket and had his shot blocked by Green with 23 seconds left in the half. The Wizards maintained possession, but as the two battled for position in the paint, Beal hit Green in the face from behind, and Green, in turn, grabbed Beal, and the two got locked up. Having been all tangled up, the two then fell into the first row of the crowd along the baseline.

While a number of players tried to separate Green & Beal apart, Wizards forward Kelly Oubre Jr. came in and looks to have thrown a punch in the melee. His first punch looks to connect with his own teammate John Wall, before later making contact with Klay Thompson.

Nothing serious happened, but Green's jersey was ripped to shreds in the scuffle.

"I don't know what I'm supposed to do if someone hits you twice," Green told ESPN as he left the locker room at halftime. "Man, you're taught as a kid not to allow that. What was I supposed to do?”

Beal said he apologized to his teammates at halftime and after the game, and said he "needs to show better leadership and control.” While leaving the court, Beal wasn’t shy about yelling at the fans either.

All in all, It’s safe to say some fines & possible suspensions could be on the way from the NBA, but for now check out footage of the scuffle (below) and let us know what you think. Did Draymond have a right to get angry and retaliate?
