Drake's dad wants all the smoke with Pusha T.
Barring a welcome surprise, all signs point to the end of the Drake vs Pusha T beef, concluding the brief yet thrilling narrative on a high note for Pusha. Despite the premature end, J. Prince has been doing his part to build the lore surrounding team Drizzy. Citing a "career-ending" diss track, Prince claims he begged Drake not to respond out of sheer good will. A strange story, and one we may never come to fully understand. Unfortunately for team Drizzy, the whole thing most definitely feels like a cop-out. Should he wish to emerge from this without taking a genuine L, he has no choice but to issue this fabled response, consequence be damned.
Despite the apparent ceasefire, Drake's pops Dennis Graham is not ready to fully commit to the armistice. TMZ recently caught Graham Sr out on the town, complete with some OVO bling. When asked about whether or not Pusha is still on the radar, Dennis plays the tried and true "who?" card. "I don't know Pusha T," says Graham. "I don't know anything about anybody named Pusha T, and if I did, I would push their T." He proceeds to drop the mic, dad style, to the sound of riotous cheers.
It's not exactly clear what he meant, or even if my transcription is accurate. Regardless, it would appear that Graham feels some type of way about his involvement in "Adidon." One has to wonder if the defiant moment in vino veritas will inspire Drizzy to follow suit. Push away.
