Drizzy's love affair with the 90s can be traced to all facets of his artistic output, from his music, to his videos, to his "interesting" fashion choices.

The birth of Champagne Papi was the ultimate encapsulation of Drake's 90s mobster movie-esque persona, and his fashion has only become all the more ridiculous since. Weird colors, patterns, and cuts accentuate Drake's "pajama clothes," giving him a look not far from an extra in a 90s rap video.

Drake pays tribute to his favorite decade in his music as much as his fashion choices, referencing the likes of the Wu-Tang Clan, Jodeci, and Juvenile in his songs. He's also acquired a pretty substantial selection of throwback rap tees.

Many would argue that Drake's most 90s moment of all time would be the infinitely-memed photo from the "No New Friends" video shoot, with the rapper donning a throwback Dada suit.

While that video stands the most deliberately indebted to the decade, Drizzy's infatuation with the 90s can be found in many of his videos-- "5 AM In Toronto," where he rocks a vintage Cash Money t-shirt, "Worst Behaviour," where he pays tribute to classic Memphis rap, and "Hold On, We're Going Home," where he fully fleshes out the velour suit-sporting Champagne Papi persona. 

Let's not forget that Drizzy did indeed live through the 90s, and we all know there's plenty of evidence out there on the internet. This is Drake's most authentic 90s swag without a doubt. The OVO rapper would later bring back this look for his cameo in Anchorman 2.
