Hip hop and basketball continue to be intertwined.  Rappers openly pine for a chance to be associated with some of the biggest names in ball.  Rick Ross' lyrics are constantly littered with mentions of the Miami Heat ("now Pat Riley my neighbor"), and other stars in the game not only mention the NBA in their lyrics, but are fans of the game at all levels.

Recently, from SLAMonlineDrake announced that he will be taking part in the University of Kentucky Wildcats Alumni Game, as a coach on the sideline.  The game is Saturday September 15th, and in the past has featured UK legends such as John Wall, Tayshaun Prince and DeMarcus Cousins.
