Drake is now a known ambassador of the Jordan brand, especially considering his smash hit with Future that's dedicated to MJ's signature logo. OVO collaborated with Jordan to put out a limited edition sneaker last year, and the black version of the same model is set to arrive in the near future. Today, the company has made the OVO boss the star of its new Super Bowl ad, which you can watch right here ahead of tonight's game.
The #WEAREJORDAN ad starts with Drizzy remembering the first pair of Air Jordans he ever owned -- "the Jordan 15's, in the white with the Carolina blue. I'll never forget it because it was a gift from my father."
Drake went on to explain how he takes inspiration from the Jordan mentality in his own career: "My life is to go out there, on that stage -- you know, act as if I am Mike, act as if it is the playoffs, act as if there is a championship trophy to be won."
This the second Drake-starring commercial that will be shown during Super Bowl 50. Last week, T-mobile unveiled its ad for the big game, which pokes fun at Drake's "Hotline Bling" video.
