Drake's longtime friend and OVO assistant Mark Robinson recently shared several photos from his birthday celebration, including a group shot that showed both Drake and Robinson wearing Kanye West's Yeezy Season 4 suede combat boots. While the Yeezy boots aren't a true Adidas product, Drizzy's footwear is noteworthy amid rumors that he's contemplating leaving Jordan Brand in favor of the three stripes.
According to Sole Collector, Drake is "looking for an exit and a new deal that would afford him more creative control." One such brand that would reportedly give him the desired creative control is Adidas. Sole Collector has reported that Drake "is in talks" with Adidas about a potential sneaker deal, but it's unclear when he'd be able to break free of his Jordan Brand contract if he truly is considering moving on.
Adidas has done a phenomenal job of collaborating with several artists over the years, most notably Kanye West and Pharrell, who both have their own sneakers. Drake stepping out in Kanye's Yeezy Season 4 suede combat boots certainly doesn't confirm the rumors that he could potential leave Jordan Brand, but it doesn't do anything to quiet them either.
