Yesterday Rolling Stone reported on an interview they had with Drake, in which the rapper commented on Macklemore's post-Grammy text to Kendrick Lamar, and reportedly called it "wack as fuck." Following those interview excerpts, more excerpts have surfaced online, wherein Drizzy discusses Kanye West's Yeezus, and took a shot at Ye's lyrics on the album.
Drake has since taken to Twitter to deny that he ever commented on Yeezus during his interview (he hasn't denied any of the other quotes), and slammed Rolling Stone for apparently taking away his cover of the magazine at the last minute, and nonetheless publishing his interview (with the title "Hip-Hop's Lonely Prince"). He also states that he's done with interviews.

On Kanye West & Yeezus:
"There were some real questionable bars on there," Drake says of Kanye‘sYeezus album. "Like that ‘Swaghili’ line? Come on, man. Fabolous wouldn’t say some shit like that."
"Kanye and me are friends; we’re plotting on getting some work done together. Kanye’s the reason I’m here. I love everything about that guy."
On Rihanna:
"She’s the ultimate fantasy. I mean, I think about it. Like ‘Man, that would be good’. We have fun together, she’s cool and shit. But we’re just friends, she’s my dog for life. I’m not after pussy like I was three years ago, when I was trying to make up for all the years when no girl would talk to me. But I haven’t met somebody that makes everybody else not matter."
On The Grammys:
"It becomes more apparent how irrelevant our genre is to them. They were trying to utilize me to sell the show, requesting me to come and perform “Hold On, We’re Going Home” but they didn’t’ nominate it for anything! They’re calling me, e-mailing me every day to do some elaborate performance and bring them viewers, but I didn’t get a nomination for Album Of The Year. I didn’t get a nomination for Song Of The Year."

Since Drake deleted his tweets from Thursday morning, he decided to go to another platform and express himself. Early Friday morning, Drake took to his October’s Very Own blog to express his thoughts and apologize to those he may have offended with his mini Twitter rant. His official statement read:
Tough Day At The Office
With today being the 5th anniversary of So Far Gone I figured it’s fitting to return to it’s place of its origin in order to clear the air about an extremely emotional day. I completely support and agree with Rolling Stone replacing me on the cover with the legendary Phillip Seymour Hoffman. He is one of the most incredible actors of our time and a man that deserves to be immortalized by this publication. My frustration stemmed from the way it was executed. The circumstances at hand are completely justifiable (on the magazines behalf), but I was not able to salvage my story or my photos and that was devastating. They ran the issue without giving me a choice to be in it or not. I would have waited until it was my time because I understand the magnitude of the cover they chose but I just wasn’t given that option and that made me feel violated. I apologize to anybody who took my initial comments out of context because in no way would I ever want to offend the Hoffman family or see myself as bigger than that moment. I am still the same person. Today I was forced out of my character and felt the need to react swiftly. These days are the worst ones. Waking up after a great night in the studio and it’s your day to be picked apart. After dwelling on it for a few hours or days you will come to the conclusion that you brought it on yourself almost every time. So here I am having that moment. I once again apologize to everybody who took my cover comments the wrong way. I respect Rolling Stone for being willing to give a kid from Toronto a shot at the cover. I guess this is a day to learn and grow.
