Drake's about to bring some reggaeton vibes for the summer.
Drake season has arrived and he's yet to release his album yet. The rapper is currently gearing up to release what will likely be his biggest album to date, Scorpion. He's already dropped two massive singles which will likely feature on the project, "Nice For What" and "God's Plan." Even though it's yet to have a release date, it will immediately go platinum off of the strength of those songs. Aside from his solo efforts, his feature game has been on point as well. He's already linked up with Migos on "Walk It Talk It," Blocboy JB for "Look Alive" and more recently, Lil Baby on "Yes Indeed." However, the rapper also has a collaboration with reggaeton artist Bad Bunny on the way.
Drake and Bad Bunny have previously teased a collaboration but there wasn't much information surrounding it. DJ Nelson, the self-proclaimed godfather of Reggaeton, recently shed some light on Drake and Bad Bunny's song at Red Bull's Musical Festival New York. Apparently, we'll be hearing Drake singing in Spanish throughout the song.
"I just heard a track from Bad Bunny and Drake, and Drake is singing in Spanish. It’s happening." He said.
There's yet to be any information on when the song will end up releasing. Hopefully, it drops in time to be an anthem for this summer.
